I’ve heard about 4G technology for internet access via a mobile phone or tablet. What is it?

4G is another form of radio technology. It enables peak speeds of 50 Mbit/sec in certain conditions (low signal sharing, location near the transmitter). It can provide a quality solution for limited use and in low density areas, but it cannot be compared to a fixed optical fibre or copper network.
